QleanAir wins first order from the healthcare sector in Germany

QleanAir Holding AB (publ), the niche premium provider of solutions for clean indoor air, announces its first order from the healthcare sector in Germany. The hospital in the county of Hersfeld-Rotenburg will use the air cleaners in the intensive care unit to protect the staff from virus, bacteria, and other hazardous particles in the air.

QleanAir has a strong foothold in the German market within logistics and production and recently reported its first customer in the school sector. Now, the first customer in the healthcare sector is announced. The contract is for three years and three FS 70 HEPA air cleaners to be placed in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the county of Hersfeld-Rotenburg.

“The hospitals are under great pressure from the Covid-19 situation, especially in the intensive care units. We are happy to be able to contribute to protect the ICU staff during this difficult time”, says Tobias Willi, Managing Director of QleanAir GmbH.

QleanAir Scandinavia recently announced a major collaboration with Karolinska University Hospital in Solna and Huddinge, Sweden, for over 77 air cleaners for multiple intensive care units.

Freestanding air cleaning solutions are an effective complement to protective gear and ventilation and is recommended by the German ECDC and the Technische Universität in Berlin.

The air cleaner FS 70 HEPA was launched during 2020, and designed to reduce the levels of virus, bacteria, and other hazardous particles in the air efficiently and silently in care facilities, schools, and offices.
