QleanAir wins the largest cleanroom order to date in USA
QleanAir Holding AB (publ), the premium provider of solutions for clean indoor air, announces an order for a new cleanroom with a prominent US-based university healthcare system. The order is the company’s largest to date within the product category Room Solutions with a total value of USD 989 000. In addition, a service agreement for three years has been signed. The new cleanroom is scheduled to begin being implemented in Q1 2021.
QleanAir has received a purchase order to provide a USP 797 and USP 800 compliant cleanroom at the largest hospital within a prominent health care system in the USA. With approximately 1.000 hospital beds, it is one of the state’s primary hospitals. The hospital’s pharmacy cleanroom was designed and built approximately 15 years ago and in need for renovations. Since it is the only cleanroom in the system’s flagship hospital, shutting it down was not an option. Furthermore, outsourcing medicine production would be logistically and financially impossible.
Therefore, QleanAir designed a multi-phase process of building the new cleanroom within the current room, while allowing the pharmacy to continue to compound safely. The Room Solution with the turnkey cleanroom is a solution sale of a value of USD 989 000. The delivery and implementation is planned to begin during Q1 of 2021. In addition, QleanAir has signed a service agreement for three years.
Since 2016, QleanAir has installed five modular pharmacy cleanrooms, Room Solutions, for different hospitals and clinics owned and operated by this same healthcare system in the US. Across the United States, QleanAir has cleanroom installations in different hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
